Volunteer Application

1. Voluntary Participation
I understand that my participation as a volunteer at the National Balloon Classic is voluntary, and I am not entitled to compensation for my time, services, or contributions.

2. Assumption of Risk
I recognize that volunteering at the National Balloon Classic may involve physical activity and exposure to certain risks, including but not limited to injury, accidents, weather-related hazards, or property damage. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in the event.

3. Release and Discharge of Liability
I do hereby release and discharge the National Balloon Classic, Ltd., its organizers, volunteers, employees, sponsors, affiliated entities, and representatives from all actions, causes of action, claims, demands, damages, or liabilities which I, my guests, or members of my party may suffer personally or which may occur to any property in connection with the use of the grounds at the National Balloon Classic Balloon Field site, including parking areas and related premises.

This release extends to any injury, loss, or damage that may occur while the grounds are being used during the National Balloon Classic event.

4. Indemnification
In consideration for the use of the premises, I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the National Balloon Classic, Ltd. from any claim, demand, suit, damage, loss, or payment arising from any act or omission by me, members of my party, or my guests while in or about the balloon field site in Warren County.

I further agree to pay all reasonable costs and attorney fees incurred by the National Balloon Classic in the event of any claim, dispute, or lawsuit arising from my actions or the actions of my guests during the term of this agreement.

5. Medical Treatment Authorization
In the event of an emergency, I authorize event organizers to seek medical treatment on my behalf if necessary. I understand that I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

6. Compliance with Event Policies
I agree to comply with all event rules, regulations, and safety procedures established by the National Balloon Classic and will follow instructions provided by event staff and organizers.

7. Photography and Media Release
I consent to the use of photographs, video, or other media taken during the event in promotional materials, including social media, website, advertising, and marketing materials, without compensation.

8. Volunteer Conduct
The National Balloon Classic reserves the right to remove any volunteer who violates event policies or engages in unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior.

9. Acknowledgment of Understanding
I have read and fully understand this Volunteer Waiver and Release of Liability. I agree to the terms outlined above and voluntarily choose to participate in the National Balloon Classic.
